Join the Christmas Sweater Knit Along 2026! We will cast on together on September 24th and knit Juovlabáidi – the Christmas Sweater – throughout the autumn.
The pattern is included in the registration fee and delivered digitally.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL
Sweater chest circumference: 80 (87) 93 (100) 107 (113) 120 cm
Body length: 36 (38) 40 (42) 43 (44) 46 cm – or desired length
Sleeve length: 45 (46) 47 (48) 49 (50) 52 cm – or desired length
Gauge: 24 stitches = 10 cm on needle size 3.5
Gauge is individual; knit a swatch to be sure.
Recommended needles: Needle sizes 3 and 3.5
40, 60 and 80 and/or 100 cm circular needles and double-pointed needles for sleeves (or 100 cm circular needle for Magic Loop).
Juovlabáidi is a festive sweater with Christmas decorations in the pattern. The sweater is knitted bottom-up and has a yoke with circular decreases.

Early Bird
If you register within the first 48 hours, you are automatically entered into a drawing for a yarn kit for the Christmas Sweater from Rauma Garn.
Early Bird applies from August 31st at 10:00 AM to September 2nd at 10:00 AM (Norwegian time).
You do not need to do anything extra to participate in the drawing.

September 24th - We cast on together
October 5th - Registration closes
November 5th - We conclude the KAL
Of course, you knit at your own pace and do not need to have finished the sweater by November 5th. The Facebook group will remain open even after the organised part of the KAL is over.
Practical information
The KAL takes place in a private Facebook group, and you must therefore have a Facebook account to participate.
After purchase, you will receive the pattern and information guide digitally. In the information guide, you will find everything you need to prepare for the start and join the Facebook group.
