Sirges Báidi 2-12 years is the children's version of the beautiful Sirges sweater from my book Sápmi knit 2.

To highlight as much of the beautiful pattern as possible in the children's version, I chose to knit the sweater in a thinner yarn than the adult version in the book. I chose Sunday from Sandnes Garn, a soft and itch-free yarn that is perfect for delicate children's skin.

Construction: Sirges Báidi 2–12 years is knitted bottom-up with raglan decreases.

Fit: The length of the body and sleeves can be adjusted as desired.

Technique: The sweater is knitted in the round in stockinette stitch and colorwork with multiple colors.
