Ullobáidi means “Wool Sweater” in Sámi and was the first Sámi-inspired design I created. The star-patterned colorwork motif is inspired by patterns found in Sámi woven shoe bands from several areas.

Construction: Ullobáidi Geassi Mohair is worked from the top down with a circular yoke shaped with increases.

Fit: The sweater can be worked with either a cropped or regular body length. The body and sleeve lengths can be adjusted as desired.

Technique: The sweater is worked in the round in stockinette stitch and stranded colorwork.
